IGN interviewed Twilight Saga: Eclipse director David Slade in the editing booth about filming the third movie in the series.

David Slade says that “of the three films so far, we were lucky, we got the most action” and that there is “a lot of darkness in this film”. He notes though that “besides the themes we know from the Twilight series….there’s another theme: vengeance.”

Explaining why there might be more action in this film he says: “Edward destroyed Victoria’s love, and she wants vengeance.”
